Scots Pine Mugolio is a premium wild botanical syrup made with hand foraged cones from Scotland’s iconic national tree Pinus sylvestris and sugar from UK sugar beets.  

Scotland’s first ever Mugolio is fermented and aged for over 1 year to create a sensational botanical syrup with intense, deep, smoky and citrus flavours and a rich, natural dark golden auburn colour.

Mugolio can be used in cocktails and mocktails, in salad dressings, served drizzled over baked cheese, used with pasta, trickled over ice-cream, pancakes and crepes and used as an ingredient in a range of different savoury and dessert recipes.

What is Mugolio

Mugolio is a traditional wild syrup made by fermenting young pine cones. Originally from Northern Italy, it has become popular among chefs and foragers for its deep, forested flavour and culinary versatility.
