Scots Pine Whisky Sour

A classy cocktail given a Scots Pine lift.

Ingredients

  • 50ml whisky
  • 25ml lemon juice
  • 15ml Scots Pine Wild Botanical Syrup
  • 1 cap Wild Scottish Bitters
  • 1 tbsp egg white (or aquafaba for a vegan alternative)

Method

  1. Pour the whisky, lemon juice, Scots Pine syrup and Wild Scottish Bitters into a cocktail shaker.
  2. Stir the egg white with a fork to loosen it, then add 1 tbsp to the shaker.
  3. Dry shake (without ice) until the mixture is frothy.
  4. Add a good handful of ice and shake again hard for 15 seconds.
  5. Strain into a rocks glass filled with fresh ice and serve.
