Distillery Operations Assistant – Permanent
(40hrs per week)
Join our innovative nature-based products business. We’re looking for an enthusiastic, practical and meticulous individual to join our small team and can offer varied experience and skills development in an exciting and growing sector.
· Full time position (40hrs per week) with some weekend working
· The successful candidate will benefit from being part of an innovative team in a growing business. They will have the opportunity to learn techniques and processes around nature-based products.
· Applicants must:
· have a degree in biology or chemistry, preferably with some level of experience in plant sciences and/or distilling
· have attention to detail, be precise and meticulous in their work
· be organised, self-motivated, an open communicator and a fast learner
· be practical and preferably with a passion for nature and the outdoors
· be capable of performing the essential functions for the role (see role specification - includes the ability to move safely over uneven terrain or in a confined space; the fine and gross manipulation of complex visual equipment; the lifting and carrying of items weighing up to 20kg across production and storage areas; and time standing in unheated indoor and outdoor areas)
This role is suitable for someone with limited work experience as all training will be provided.
