Our Auld Alliance take on the French 75 as a FrenchScots 75
This is a champagne cocktail and we've shifted the French 75 to a FrenchScots '75 in recognition of the Auld Alliance between France and Scotland.
The French 75 is one of the most popular champagne cocktails so we hope you like our take on it. There is a long history of France and Scotland trading so we're quietly confident we can borrow this recipe.
Add all ingredients except the champagne into a cocktail shaker and shake. Now you've got a choice - tradition has it that this is served in a tall glass with the champagne poured over the mix with ice cubes. If you prefer it in a champagne flute without ice then we’re not going to argue!
