In our Scots language themed cocktails, The Coorie Doon. A warm hug from a loved one, or wrapping a blanket or duvet that bit more tightly around you as you snuggle down for the night. Feel the depth of inner warmth from this rich, warming autumn and winter cocktail.
Ingredients
- 25 ml Larch and Honeysuckle Wild Scottish Spirit
- 50 ml Birch and Sloe Wild Scottish Liqueur
- 25 ml lemon juice
- 25 ml sugar syrup
- 150 ml cranberry juice
- 3 small pieces fresh ginger
- orange slice, to garnish
Method
- Add all ingredients except garnish to a saucepan.
- Heat gently without boiling.
- Warm for 3 to 5 minutes to develop flavour.
- Pour into a heatproof glass.
- Garnish with an orange slice.
