ANCIENNE FRONTIER

With thanks to Jack of Scottish Mixology for this recipe. A strong, tangy and tropical cocktail.

Ingredients

  • 30 ml coconut old tom gin
  • 30 ml arrack
  • 20 ml Birch & Elderflower Liqueur
  • 20 ml white port
  • 2 dashes grapefruit bitters
  • orange peel, to garnish

Method

  1. Add all ingredients except garnish to a mixing glass.
  2. Fill with ice.
  3. Stir for 30 seconds.
  4. Strain into an old fashioned glass over a large ice cube.
  5. Express orange peel over the drink.
  6. Garnish with the peel.
