Our Birch and Elderflower Wild Scottish Liqueur leads with the beautiful floral tones of the Elderflower with the deep, warm birch coming through the finish.

The liqueur is lovely straight over ice, can be lengthened with a soda water or lemonade, is glorious when added to champagne or prosecco and is a perfect ingredient for other cocktails.

Crafting Birch and Elderflower Liqueur

We carefully hand-pick Birch buds and Elderflowers. We copper distill the birch buds to produce a fresh, smooth spirit and elderflower is added as a post-distillation infusion to create this super-smooth liqueur.

How to Serve

Citrus AND TANGY

Clansman's Kiss

Ingredients:

  • 50ml Larch and Honeysuckle Wild Scottish Spirit
  • 25ml Birch and Elderflower Liqueur
  • 50ml Lime Juice
  • Salt rim of glass
  • Ice

In a cocktail shaker add the Larch and Honeysuckle spirit, the Birch and Elderflower Liqueur, lime juice and ice.  Shake thoroughly and strain into a martini glass that has had the rim salted.

Highland Sunset

Ingredients

  • 50ml Birch and Elderflower Spirit
  • 25ml Birch and Elderflower Liqueur
  • 10-15ml raspberry liqueur
  • 150ml champagne or sparkling wine
  • Slice of lemon as garnish

In a tall glass pour champagne or another sparkling wine, add the Birch and Elderflower Spirit and the Birch and Elderflower Liqueur. Stir lightly and drizzle the raspberry liqueur over the top, garnish with a slice of lemon and serve.

Sláinte 

Elderflower Spritz 

Ingredients:

  • 150ml champagne or sparkling wine
  • 100ml soda water
  • 50ml Birch and Elderflower Liqueur
  • Ice
  • Slice of lemon to garnish

In a tall glass pour champagne or other sparkling wine, add the soda water, ice and add the Birch and Elderflower Liqueur.  Stir lightly, garnish with a slice of lemon and serve.
