Solasta is the Gaelic word for luminous, shining and bright. This cocktail shimmers with shining light as a result of the combination of spirit, liqueur and glorious rosebay syrup. A cocktail with the taste to match the looks!

In a tall glass pour the Birch and Elderflower Wild Scottish Spirit over a generous quantity of crushed ice and add the elderflower liqueur. Top up with lemonade, stir and drizzle the Rosebay syrup through the cocktail and then garnish with a slice of lemon and serve.

Ingredients

  • 25 ml Birch and Elderflower Wild Scottish Spirit
  • 50 ml Birch and Elderflower Liqueur
  • 25 ml rosebay syrup
  • lemonade, to top
  • lemon slice, to garnish

Method

  1. Add the spirit and liqueur to a highball glass over crushed ice.
  2. Stir gently to combine.
  3. Top with lemonade.
  4. Stir briefly.
  5. Drizzle rosebay syrup through the drink.
  6. Garnish with a slice of lemon.
